Position Overview:

Pollocks School is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Arts Teacher to inspire students and foster their artistic expression. This role offers the opportunity to cultivate creativity, enhance visual storytelling, and nurture a lifelong appreciation for art in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging art lessons that encourage creativity and skill development.
Introduce students to various art forms, techniques, and mediums.
Foster an appreciation for art history and cultural influences in artistic expression.
Organize exhibitions and art events to showcase student creativity.
Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students’ artwork and progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art into interdisciplinary learning activities.
Maintain a well-organized and safe art studio or classroom environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or Art Education (teaching certifications preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching art, preferably at the school level.
Proficiency in various art techniques, materials, and digital art tools.
Strong ability to inspire and guide students of all skill levels.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
