Position Overview:

Pollocks School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher to inspire a love for language and literature in our students. Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum.Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through interactive and innovative teaching methods.
Introduce students to literature, fostering an appreciation for language and storytelling.
Design assessments to track and support individual student progress.
Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain open communication with parents.
Participate in school activities, workshops, and staff meetings to contribute to the school community.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or Education with a focus on English (teaching certifications preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English, preferably at the school level.
Strong command of the English language and a passion for literature.
Proficiency in classroom management and student engagement techniques.
Familiarity with modern teaching tools and methodologies is an advantage.
